1. Workshop & Seminar :
There is an arrangement to grow up the knowledge of hands on techniques for the students & teachers as well as in future, in future, in future the workshop would be conducted by experts from other institution & R & D labs.
2. Guest Faculty :
In view of the content of proposed course, Biotechnology is an interdisciplinary branch of science available in the number of universities & colleges so, some of the content of the concerned course is also taught by guest faculty and experts.
3. Curriculum :
Syllabus of the concerned vocational course is given to the students, who get admission in course separately.
4. Personality Development :
In addition to curriculum for study and training of students admitted to the course, the department will also lay special stress on proper development of personality. So that they may be able to face the today’s world of stress and strain without most courage and confidence.
5. Opportunities and Avenues :
Career orientation programme the vocational course is basically meant to train students and equip them with required techniques. So that they can get proper employment in biotechnology firm / chemical industries / pharmaceutical companies or research laboratories after passing out or they may be able to work as an entrepreneur successfully. Expertise in any one technique would normally be enough for absorption in such establishment. Employment opportunities are expected to increase manifold in future as biotechnology is under – standably the fastest developing applied science. Trained properly skilled individual’s may also work in association with other suitable skilled person or biotech engineers to develop independent biotechnological clinics or establishment etc.
6. Discipline and Regularity :
The first and foremost quality we stress upon and expect from the students at department of botany in discipline. Good manner and proper behavior are to be instilled in students and their expected to carry on their learning activities win standard behavior and inherent regards for teachers. Students of junior classes learn these things form seniors. If a student is found lacking in standardized norms he / she may be dropped from the course, punctuality and regularity are other feature which we shall want from the students. Absence from the classes without any genuine reason will not be allowed.
